It's release week for Tabitha Bouldin's new book in the Independence Islands Series, Mishaps off the Mainland! Since her book's main character is a pet groomer, we thought it would be fun to dress up our own pets for the occasion and have an animal parade. awww Ruby and Popcorn are sweet. I grew up on a farm and we always had a lot of chickens. Mom had her special ones that she named. In fact when I was starting sophomore year in high school we moved to the suburbs of another state. Mom still kept a chicken with her. They moved to an area where having chickens was no problem. When she died, one of her chickens was still alive. This rooster was then 21 yrs old. After mom died it is like he had a broken heart and left us. Sigh. quilting dash lady at comcast dot net
