My Heirloom Story
When my future husband and I were getting close to our engagement, it was exciting to look at possible engagement rings. I searched online and saved pictures, imagining what a ring might look like when he asked me to marry him. However, when the time came, I was even more excited when the ring he proposed to me with was a family heirloom. That made it more precious and special than any new ring I could have received from a store. I still treasure having the special heirloom that was his grandmother's ring. We have now been married for fifteen years this August and I am blessed to have him in my life.
