I’m excited to announce the release of Conversation Hearts by Marguerite Gray! To celebrate, the authors in the Suamalie Islands Series will have a blog tour. My Story

In Conversation Hearts, Megan lets her opinions and words overflow without involving the other person in a true conversation. Once she listens, she finds a different conversation involving her heart. Have you ever spoken without thinking, even with good intentions?

Most of the time I am a very introverted person and socially awkward. Socializing in groups can cause me anxiety at times, so I often rehearse conversations in my head before even saying them out loud. However, I am often more outgoing when someone else starts the conversation. Sometimes, our next-door neighbor, who is very extroverted, gets me talking and before I know it, I’ve rambled on and on about something longer than I never intended to. Later, I replay the conversation in my head, wondering if I said too much. This shows the importance of thinking before we speak. It is a lesson I am still learning.

His concern continues to grow as he watches his daughter get attached to the American.

Either Jean will have to create an even bigger hedge of protection around his daughter and his heart from this pouty, controlling woman, or he will have to trust God to peel back the stubborn, hurting layers of the past and allow the miracle of His love again.
